I’m so excited about the 7th Annual My May cruise. we are leaving from New Orleans and spending 4 nights, 3 days pre-cruise tour to discover “Nawlins.” I must say the New Orleans Visitors Bureau (NOLA) has a great website. Many things to see and do. I have spent hours on their sight searching for interesting tours, points of interest, restaurants, and music venues. Fascinating! However, In my research I have been blessed to find information leading to “Nawlins” from the Afro-American perspective – different from what’s advertised on the NOLA website. I had planned an all day Plantation tour with a swamp boat ride, lunch and visiting 2 plantations. that is still in place BUT, I found a plantation that an African man has written about.
