Well the official “End of Summer” was this weekend. I love the Bay Area. There are SO many things to do in the summer time. AND, we actually had a summer this year. It has been nice.
What did you do this past weekend? Sunday was Brazil Day around the Bay. There were Brazilian parties all over the bay area. I went to one in Berkeley – from 11 am to 7pm. A whole lot of fun. It was an outdoor festival at the Berkeley Capoeira School. There were live bands, dance troupes vendors for food, drinks and Brazilian food. There were Brazilians there with their native costume from their original dance troupe in Brazil. That was exciting. It juiced me up and now I want to go back to Brazil. How about 2017 for Carnival in Rio de Janiero. Of course, I would have to spend some time in Bahia and Sao Paulo. Hit me if you want to go. Start saving your money NOW. Brazil is expensive. I’m looking at a 3 week trip. Of course, you can stay a lesser time. Just let me know.
I didn’t BBQ for the weekend. I went and bought BBQ from CJ’s in Richmond. I think his food is better at a street event. The weather was beautiful – just right for a festival. Let me know what you did.
