I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I sure did. We had the Berkeley High School All Class reunion at San Pablo Park in Berkeley, CA. It was F A N T A S T I C !!! One of the best feelings in the world is to re-unite with old friends. What a blessing! I met a gentleman who graduated from BHS in either 1943 or 1947. Either one is way before my time. He was there with his wife (she did not go to BHS). They were dressed so dapper. I could tell life has treated them very well. I wish I had taken more time to talk with them. I did not even get their names. I was on a mission to get my postcards out advertising the 7TH ANNUAL MY MAY CRUISE. The park was FULL of BHS alumni, young and old, mostly old reminiscing on being young (hahahahaha).
A friend of mine who lives across the street from the park was having a BBQ. So, we’d go back ‘n forth to the park and her house, eat drink, play dominoes and cards. It was a great day, until the sun set. AND, boy did it get cold IMMEDIATELY. Time to go home for me – we left about 7pm and people were still at the park. It was a fun day for all.
I look forward to this event every year.
