By now many of you have heard what happened to a group of book club members, who all happen to Black women, while riding the Napa Wine Train. As the “word of mouth story” goes the women were laughing too loud and were asked to get off the train in the middle of nowhere. They got off and were greeted by a group of police officers. When asked how they were to get back to Napa , they were told transportation would be sent for them. Well, it never came and they had to catch cabs back to Napa.
“Stick a fork in me, I’m DONE!” Needless to say, I have cancelled my groups’ annual trip on the Wine Train. PPLLEEEEEEEZZZEEE ! Have you EVER been on a train with a bunch of drunk white folks????????? And, don’t let “the game” be a topic, major free for all! But, we laugh and are made to get off the train.
I have only “heard” about this from 3rd parties and FB. I would L O V E to hear the real deal. I wonder if that will ever happen? In the meantime, no more Napa Wine Train for Jackson Travel Store. I can no longer endorse Napa Wine Train and will no longer recommend them nor take groups.
We need to follow our money, meaning do business with people who do good business and
STOP doing business (spending our money) with people who do not respect you. BOYCOTT NAPA WINE TRAIN
