HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR

Thank God  we made it to another year.

This is the 3rd year that I have done a 30 day detox for the month of January. I am on day 12th day. So far, so good. The detox product is all vegan based. So, I have a protein shake in the  morning. I choose to have one protein shake a day and eat a meal. I actually need to eat more, which is so contrary to my fat belief system. I would do better if I had the shake twice a day and one meal. That would give me all the needed daily nutrients. I can’t seem to fit it all in. I don’t get up until 9-10am. I drink some detox tea.  I have my protein shake about noon. I will east something about between 4- 6pm.  After that, I’m done. It’s too late to be eating anything. I don’t want to snack. That starts a whole new problem.  I hesitant about drinking a protein shake after 6pm because it might give me energy and I would not be able to go to sleep. I am an insomniac. Anyway, I’m working at getting it right.

What are you doing to get better – mentally? physically? spiritually? I went back to TM – Transcendental Meditation – in December. My nerves were SO worn out and my shrink stopped taking medical I HAD to do something or my head was gonna blow up! It was another nice experience. I learned it had been in 1973 that I first joined. WOW,  that blew me away. My oh  my, how times flies. I also learned people  are paying $962  for 4 – 90 minute sessions to  learn how to meditate and join TM (I’m in the work business). It is a practice to do 2 times a day for 20 minutes each time. Fascinating.  It works! I have not been able to get 2 times a day but, I have been consistent with once a day. I have got to find some trigger to get me to meditate in the afternoon. 2 times a day is optimum.

Sometime in December I had made a Serenity Schedule. I had 7 days of stuff – 4 days of swimming and 3 days of Tai Chi, acupuncture in between and a massage 2 times a month.  Chiiiillldd, the Tai Chi toe(sic) my knees up the first day. I haven’t been back. Not as planned.  I haven’t even been back to acupuncture. So, I still go swimming. my ultimate goal is 4 times a week. I am meditating daily and started a bible study class. I’m liking how I feel, most of the time. The detox helps puts health matters in perspective.

Thank God for the health that I have. Thank God for all the problems that I have. It could be worse.
